There’s always a little bad to make things awesome

So I found out some sad news, once again I’ve been dropped as a HSKS pal.  It worries me that this is becoming a common thing that my upstream pal drops out of the swap in HSKS.  That’s okay I get another awesome fantastic angel package, it will be worth the extra wait since somebody’s house elves have to work overtime to make the handmade item for me.

I’ve been hiding out since I haven’t been feeling that great lately.  Things hopefully will look up and I promise to bounce back and be seen around Hogwarts more than I have been for the last few weeks.  I decided to make another little something for Intarsia’s package as a little pick-me for myself 🙂  Cheerful colours can help a lot! 😉  Also I have a little potions experiment that might make it into Intarsia’s package.  I should make the early deadline despite all the extra things I’ve decided to put in.

I love Arithmancy and was happy to see that this week’s homework was Sudoku!  Yay what fun.  I’m all done.

Puzzle 1  – Dobby

Puzzle 2 – Harry Potter

Puzzle 3 – Hog[‘}s head

Monster Mash

So I am going to be missing the Quidditch match this weekend 😦 Good luck Slytherin, let’s kick some quaffle.

I’ve been feeling pretty ill lately, probably due to the stress of N.E.W.T.S. that are coming up. I’ve been giving the weekend off and we are going to head down to Seattle for some fun and much needed perk up.

What’s on my needles. Well these cute little monsters .  Meet Charlotte (mommy monster) and Chloe.  They are almost done, they just need to be stuffed, their arms sew on and I need to get fabric glue to glue on their teeths!  I can’t wait till they are done, because I’m going to cast on for another set for Mini-me, Charlotte and Chloe are bound to Ontario to meet their new friend baby S.

Wee little knits!

So I’ve been busy knitting away on S.P.E.W. projects.  Look what I’ve made so far.

Another cool thing, a swap pal of mine (Ravelry Starbucks Swap) made an awesome transfiguration spell turning a coffee cup and yarn into a copy of Faye.

I’m excited to see how wins this weeks Quidditch match. Good luck Ravenclaw and Gryffindor may the best team win. Also Slytherins a reminder if you can that we need to get our house points up with participation in Quidditch with cheers, homework and blog postings. Not sure how, but somehow we are in the bottom half of the House Cup. Boo!

My potion is Brighter Side of Life Potion.  It causes anyone to drink it to pep up and be jolly for an hour or so.  The more gin the brighter life will be 😉

Ingredients are gin (to taste), ice and mango puree juice.  Yummy.  Add ice to a glass, pour in gin (the more the merrier I use Daresbury’s Quintessential) and top of with lots of mango puree.  You can add a strawberry or two as garish!
